  1. What I’ve noticed with my writing, is how often I write that I must be on the brink of the next big thing because I am feeling so much pain. I had clearly forgotten that we are always on the brink of the next big thing, and that there are no actual big things, just a collection of little things.

So that feeling of pain, is actually me not taking my expansion, and those little things are backing up into what feels like something massive. But it never is, it’s always a collection of little things. Of course, if we never allow those little things in, then the collection will get bigger and bigger so that when we do finally let go, it can seem like this almost miraculous manifestation.

This is why reminding ourselves every day of who we are is so beneficial. This allows us to process our days growth, and helps us not to carry it forward into tomorrow. Tomorrow’s growth will be sufficient on its own for us to look at, it is neither helpful, or necessary for us to carry the old around with us.

I’m writing this really for my own benefit, I’m trying to make sense of that which I am observing in my own writing. My observation is, that when I spend time in pain, it’s because I’ve forgotten, and there is a lot to remember, and yet there is nothing to remember. The ONLY thing that we have to remember is that there is always help on hand when we need it, all we have to do is ask, and everything we need to know in that moment will be shown to us.

Of course, in our pain, all we can see is pain, so until we ask, all our energy can do is hold our hand and wait for us to remember it’s there. We have free will, they cannot impose themselves on us, we would never learn if they did.

This is about recognising that we are powerful beings in our own right, because of our energy, and that we can tap into it at any moment of any day. And it is our energy, it’s not an external energy, it’s our own personal energy, and it’s made up of things that are so complex and yet so very simple.

  2. Feeling unsettled?

    Feeling uncomfortable?

Feeling like nothing makes sense anymore?

All those things that once felt so important now feel almost irrelevant?

Believe it or not, this is a great place to be. This is what happens when we are growing into the next best version of ourselves. Our reality can feel as though it's crumbling around us, as though we're turning into a blank slate where nothing matters anymore.

And in many ways, those things don't matter anymore. We've simply outgrown the person we were, and now we're in the process of creating a newer version of ourselves. It can be a tough transition, because just before we blossom, there is an inexplicable emptiness, a void if you like, which can make us feel deeply unsettled, as if we have no clue what is happening, and we might wonder if we ever will again.

But nature abhors a vacuum, so all we have to do is to accept that this is a very necessary part of the process and simply observe it as we are moving through it.

If we resist the way it makes us feel, by wondering what's gone wrong, we can start to feel stuck. The feeling will pass much faster if we accept and observe it for what it is, a beautiful part of the journey, that will, in time, reap fabulous rewards.

We don't need to try and figure out where we're going next, our universe has all that in hand. All we need to do is experience whatever comes our way.
