I'm simply finding my way

And my way is unique to me

There's a good chance that no-one will understand my way, but you know what - that's ok. I don't need them to understand, because I'm not walking their path, I'm walking my own.

And it is my intention to continue to walk the road less travelled - there are many benefits to doing this;

   It's never crowded

   At every turn I will be surprised and delighted by new and unexpected experiences

   I have no idea where I'm going so it doesn't actually matter which way I go

   Although I have absolutely no clue what I am looking for, I know when I find it I will instantly           recognize it

I have learnt on my travels, in the last ten years particularly, that there are no good or bad experiences. There are only experiences and our perception of them. And when we can simply accept every experience for what it really is - a stepping stone to where we are going - then life becomes so much simpler.

Something which I have realised, which I find really interesting, is that in our humanness we are a lot like the ocean. Sometimes we are the waves lapping gently at the shore, and sometimes we are the raging sea, out on a limb, in the middle of nowhere. Most of the time we are something in between those two extremes.

Currently, I'm wafting gently by the shore, just allowing whatever comes my way. It won't last, and nor should it - my feeling is that I'm close to breaking into a new cycle. I've grown to recognize these 'cycles' and for the most part I accept them. Not always of course, a new cycle, by it's very definition, brings new, and as yet unexplored experiences, which initially are often terrifying. A period of adaption is required, accepting that I don't know what's happening, but it's ok, I can learn.

xx
