Energetic Vibrations

Have you ever stopped to consider that we are more than this person that you see when you look in the mirror. What you see in front of you is but one very small part of who you really are. What you see in front of you is a manifestation of the energy you are currently vibrating at, the way you feel is a manifestation of the energy you are currently vibrating at, your thoughts and your words are all manifestations of the energy you are currently vibrating at.
So what do I mean when I talk about energetic vibrations?
At our source, we are energy, and on a quantum level we are energetically vibrating at a certain level. Now that level is not set, we could be vibrating at a level of peace and tranquility, or we could be vibrating at a level of fear and powerlessness, most of us vibrate somewhere in between the two. But what most of us don't realise is that we are vibrating on levels that are being decided for us, by other people, when in actual fact we have full control over the level at which we vibrate.
Lets say for example, that you've decided to take up a hobby, so you dabble a little, draw something perhaps, and then decide that you're rubbish at it, so probably won't be doing that again. Now why, do you think, did you come to that conclusion?
One of the first things that babys love to do is to create art, primarily in their food, and what do you think stops them from their creative act? Adults! every time! because adults see a mess, a mess that they don't want to have to deal with, and so they take it on themselves to control the baby's behaviour so that they don't have a mess to deal with. And so it begins. From that simple act of compliance, a baby has now learnt that anything messy is not acceptable, and is most definitely not art. This is problematic from the outset, because anyone who creates anything, will tell you that making a mess is a necessary part of the creative process.
So what if, this continued into your childhood, and you had parents who didn’t like mess in any way shape or form, so you learnt that making a mess was ‘bad’, because that was what they told you. Or even worse, they told you that YOU were bad, because you made a mess. So you carry that with you, at school you’re afraid of art, because you’ve already been told that mess is bad, so in trying to avoid the mess, you make more of it, and in doing so your lack of art skills is reinforced by a teacher who tells you that art probably ‘isn’t for you’.
None of this has anything to do with any creative skill you may have, it is all based purely on a perception you now have about yourself, all formed by other peoples opinions. And what happens in the majority of cases, is that all of these opinions, on every subject imaginable, are taken on board as a fact, and becomes our belief system about ourselves. And we’re not even aware that it happened, because we formed those beliefs as children, trusting that what the adults told us had to be correct, because after all, they’re adults, so it stands to reason that they must know what they’re talking about, right?
