  1. Expression is SO important. Our feelings of fear and frustration, worry and doubt, simply need to be expressed.

And the expression is not about attempting to find someone to 'fix' our problems, it's literally about releasing them from our psyche. That's it!!

Unexpressed emotions go inwards if they're not released, and it's the storing of negative energies that harms us, not the negative energies themselves.

'Negative' energy is not actually negative, it's simply an energy that is being used to guide us away from things not meant for us. But in our humanness, we've allocated 'good' and 'bad' labels to experiences, so when we encounter something that we perceive to be bad, for the most part we default into the mode of  'Why me?' 'Why does this always happen?' 'Why can't I get anything right?' 'What am I doing wrong?' and on and on it goes. And once we get into this pattern of thought, we begin to emit a different energy, and as I may have said before, whatever we put out, we attract more of the same, this applies to all energy, so if we start vibrating on a lower frequency, then we will attract more thoughts from that frequency, and we enter a relentless spiral of negative thinking.

But try looking at from a different angle. What if we could accept that we're being steered in a different direction - that's it, that's all! Say a job falls through, or a relationship falls apart, ask anyone who went through that a few years ago, and the majority will say they found someone/something better, that without that push, they would never have known about. We don't have the benefit of the bigger picture, so we only have blind faith to go on. But I promise you, if you can retrain your brain (and yes it is totally possible) to accept that there is a bigger picture, that simply takes time to show itself to us, then your journey will be a much more pleasant one xx

  2. Growth can at times feel relentless, and sometimes I want to say, 'Come on Universe, just give me a break!'

But what I'm forgetting when I'm having a down day is that my life is full of breaks. On the whole I love my life, but sometimes I become a little too aware, of my here and now reality, which makes me feel like I've gone right back to the beginning and I feel as though I can't handle it.

But I can handle it! I always have, and I always will!

I just have to shift my perspective, and look at all the wonderful things that I know are waiting for me. If all I can do right now, is just put one foot in front of the other, then so be it. We all have to do whatever it takes simply to get us through the next moment, and the next, and the next, and the next.

The real trick, is not to let those down times define us. We're not lazy, and we're not behind, don't tell yourself those things, and don't allow anyone else to tell you those things either.

We are where we are, and where we are is exactly where we are meant to be!!
